This is for the MFT Guest Designer Challenge for February, we were required to create a card using any combination of the following colors: pink, black, bown, grey, white, I decided to use them all! (great colors!)
The inspiration for this card was to have a girl dishing while getting her nails done, so I made a view master card. The 3 3/4 wheel behind holds 6 little "And Then I Said" sentiments to peek out of the word window slot on this square card. The little space to turn the wheel is to the right of her shoulder.
I'd had the idea for awhile to alter her hair and make a towel wrap, so I added some elements from Gina K Designs "Perfectly Polished" to complete the scene! All images are colored with Copics. The girl is done in layers for a paper tole effect.
Her shirt is pieced wth Basic Grey Bittersweet papers and the counter is from Basic Grey Granola. The towels and nail poilish bottles are all popped up on dimesnioansl, bottles covered with Crystal Lacquer, shadows drawn with a Copic. the photo corner was made with a punch and blinged up with slef adhesive rhinstones, as was her hand (LOL!)
I will be doing a post later on my blog whe I get it all written up with more details about how I created the card, thanks for looking and thanks for the fun challenge!

Wow...phenominal job watercoloring. Your nail polish bottles look real. I love all your colors and the viewmaster idea. Totally magnificent card. TSMFS

That card is JUST TOO COOL! I love how you did her hair up in a wrap. Is that something you drew yourself? I love how you paired up the stamp sets... you did it again! You are so clever!
