This is the card I made for today's WT challenge, which was to use patterned paper and alter it - make it special.
I love this Sushi paper from Urban Lily. It's not my style of design, or colour, but I just love cutting it out and doing a sort of paper tole with it. So when my local supplier was clearing it, I got 6 sheets. That's a lot for me to buy of anything!!
There's not much else on the card. It's matted onto some brown Bazzill, and I put the scrap with the butterfly through with an embossing folder before cutting it out. I used a stamen punch to add some stamens to two of the bigger flowers, with Stickles on them.
The sentiment was computer generated and then cut and embossed with the Spellbinders tag and attached with snaps.
I punched the top right corner and added a little heart-shaped gem, and that's it. Lots of cutting, lots of foam tape.
Actually, I have to confess there should have been a lovely bird on it. But I tried colouring it silver and it didn't look good - so I moved up the big pink flower and moved down the butterfly.
TFL.
I think I will be hand-delivering this. If not, I might have to trim the top flower down, but I'll leave it for the moment .
