Guess I win the bonus round in todays Color Challenge, I worked in the fourth color, night of navy! Thanks Emily, I went to the SU catalog and those colors are dreamy together. Adding the navy definitely helps my window effect.
I did a complete right turn on todays challenge, but am pleased with the effect. This card will go to my parents ...the Western Union stamp ends with the little town my mother grew up. The stamp is part of Oxford Impressions winter snow set. It included the tree you see in the window. The fabulous window is from Stampinks...inked in VersaFine onyx black and embossed, I chalked it till I liked the way it look. I stamped tiny snowflakes on the shutters and embossed with Kaleidoscope ep. The Christmas is stamped with VersaFine smokey gray onto SU baja breeze. I cut and placed it in front of Kiwi Kisses. The Western union message is inked directly onto night of navy with Nick Bantock cerlean azure.
Thanks so much for your comments, I love to read how my art strikes you! Have a happy Tuesday.

Ms O4J, this is just super! I love the western union concept as it relates to mailing a special card to the rents! Love the image behind the window, too. It's almost like A Christmas Carol where scrooge throws open the windows ~ perfectly creative card, my sweet friend.

Another Susan creation to view and ponder. It reminds me of walking through the neighborhood growing up and trying to see if the family Christmas tree could be seen through their living room window. We always wanted to see what everyone else's tree looked like. Even now, if I see a tree in front of the window of a home I do a double-take. It makes me want to start decorating our tree. Thanks for the memories....
