Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Tag Punch Starburst. You can find the STAR directions here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Now, if you have been seeing my 9 year old's cards this past weekend, you can probably imagine Speedy the Cat's, (and MY), DELIGHT that the little guy had school today! LOL! I'm trying to cut for a 20 card stamp a stack, and having the guy in my "space" was killing me! LOL!
So, when I saw the challenge today I kinda giggled, as I just made 5 Christmas cards using that vellum star! LOL! So......I decided to go ahead and "mess" with the stary and use RED Linen paper instead of vellum. Well...I got a big red star....So..I looked at it and decided that it needed leaves...And then, it needed a center.....So, I stamped the poinsettia 5 times. I colored 3 of them green, 1 red and 1 yellow. I then used an aqua pen to blend the colors.
I cut out various pieces and adhered them to the star with foam tape.

Faith, this has to be one of your all-time best. And that's saying something.
Too many great features to enumerate, so I'll pick the one thing I like best about this card: the contrast between the white-on-white base and the brilliantly colored poinsettia.
Thanks for taking the time to share and EXPLAIN!
