My sister asked me to make her a sympathy card for a woman who doesn't like frilly or foo foo or anything I know how to do. Yikes. I prefer to make clean layout cards, but no frilly anything?!!!
I am a textile kind of a girl, so I used real felt. It's a beast to stamp on, let me tell you! So I heavily inked up my stamps with reinkers and then went over that with gold Pearl Ex. Burnished the corners with more ink, added inked Prisma flowers, and an embossed oval with the sympathy message.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Hats off to you for even trying to stamp on felt!! I wondered about using some of my felt but was too lazy to cut flowers out. Looks like you came up with a perfect card to fit the requirements and be totally inspired by the Felted Garden at the same time.

Wow! What a wonderful card! I was looking at it and puzzling over how you did it (I like to see if I can figure out before I read, this also helps w/ those who don't list any deets.) But I had to cause I couldn't. Real felt? I never would have. I might have thought it, but I wouldn't have tried it. It looks really great and I bet it's even better IRL. Love the hardware at the bottom, too.
