I don't know why I've been so afraid to try. Probably because Zindorf's creations are such work of art, I didn't feel like I could do her technique justice. But I *finally* gave it a try. The result isn't incredible, but it's not too bad either. It at least made it to a card and not my wastebasket, so I consider this a personal success. ;)
The sky was brayered with a combination of Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose and Ruby Red. The skating rink was sponged in Bordering Blue and stamped with Sanded. (I know - looks great, right?)
I'm also trying very hard to make a dent in my paper stash. (Trust me, it's quite the challenge.) When I saw the inspiration piece here (Forums at Splitcoaststampers, I remembered those pink, red and green papers. They're not as bright as the original, but the color combo is similar so I went for it. The papers are from K&Company.
I tried to embellish the striped paper with some Stickles, but I had problems getting a nice, even flow. I think the problem comes from the glitter being too thick to pass through the nozzle correctly. It does that with certain colors, and it's such a drag.

I am impressed! Your scene with the brayered sky the stamped trees, the sponged pond and the beautifully colored skaters is just awesome. Wonderful use of the dp to reflect the inspiration piece. TFS
