Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Pink Twinks.
Yes, you read that title correctly! Markie came home from school today with a volunteer fundraising brochure for a RUN for the CURE for kids.
We started talking and Speedy the Cat kept jumping up and sitting on the entry form. Markie looked at me and said, "I think he wants to run! Hey, is there a way HE could enter and get donations?"
So....Now Speedy the Cat is entering the race along with Markie! So....LOL! (I have NO CLUE how he will run, but HE's GOING TO DO IT! LOL! I called the race officials, and it's already ok! I wonder where they will put the number???)
The image was stamped and colored in with watercolor pencils and Twinkling H2O's . I used an aqua painter to blend them. You can't see the shimmer here, but, believe me, it's there!
The designer papers were run through embossing folders and then I shaded the edges and ran an ink pad over the embossed surface.

Finally getting time to look through today's additions. This is just beautiful Faith. I love the diamonds and squares together. How can we donate to Speedy? Markie too. I'd like to see this cat! He really must be something.

Another great card! I like the sponged embossing! Faith, I have new cats in my household and I got a wake up call that reminded me of you. Babs, my rescued Mom cat, came down to my stamp room today and walked across my stamp table while I was working and promply stepped in my Rose Red pad. I tried wiping off her paw, but she still succeeded in leaving inky prints on some stamped images. So I will definately be cleaning up more carefully from now on!

Perfectly pink!!! The sponging and embossing look great as a stunning bg for your cheery, hopeful daisy. We'll wait to hear how Speedy does as an entree.
