I'm so tickled and thrilled with the way this card turned out. I was giggling and dancing at my desk when it was done because it turned out exactly the way I envisioned it. Phew!
This is my entry into the Wish-RAK October Card Contest Category #3. We're to make a card using Sketch Challenge 85. Forums at Splitcoaststampers My Wish-RAK item is the Soft Sky cardstock from sbbolz. (Thanks, Sara!)
My card base is the Soft Sky cs. Panel 1-A was done by stamping the blades of grass from the Inspired By Nature set three times onto Whisper White cs with Kiwi Kiss ink. On a scratch piece of cs, I stamped the two butterflies with Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red, cut them out and attached them to the cs with Mini Glue Dots. Here's a close up. Detail shot of my 3-D butterflies by ReginaBD at Splitcoaststampers Panel 2 was done by stamping the sentiment directly on the cardbase. I stamped the little butterfly on Whisper White cs with Riding Hood Red ink, cut her out and attached her with a Mini Glue Dot, too. All the butterflies' wings were then gently folded up. Panel 2 is some pretty Bella Rose designer paper layered at the top with some Pink Pirouette cs that was punched with Scallop Edge Punch. Panels 1-A and 2 were layered on Riding Hood Red cs for a little pop.
I hope this card makes you smile. I just can't stop grinning!
