I think I am finding it hard to realize that summer is really over here in New England.....being a leaf lover, you'd think I'd be making leaf/tree cards galore, but I seem to not want to let go of the ocean.....the place I most find peace and tranquility. Maybe it is cuz I just got back from a short jaunt to Maine....or because I head to the SC shore in a week and a half.......but I seem to keep reaching for the stamp drawer that says 'summer'.......
so....to those of you who gallery gaze alot...yes, I am in a bit of a sunshine, ocean rut......but......IMHO that is a good rut to be in cuz it gives me such joy!!!!!
Great sketch, Roxie.....I made my mid-layer a bit larger....will try to make my next one more 'legal'....but I did keep the small skinny piece......so I'm good on that one....lol
so thanks for looking and for putting up with my 'rut' piece........and may you all have a 'sun day'.....

Wow, this is a fabulous card as a wonderful way to say goodbye to summer!!! Here on the coast in Texas it just goes on and on. I'm ready for a little fall weather. The leaves won't change before December or January probably!!! LOL Ike, the hurricane put some of the fruit trees in shock and they are blooming like it's spring time. Isn't that wild??
