Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: NO! NO! NO!!! Participants were only allowed to use the following on their cards:
paper piercer
punches
nesties
crimper
cardstock
dp
ink (And coloring tools! I asked, and the Gel Pen was OK to use! YEAH!)
So, Speedy the Cat is having an off week...So I thought...Until I noticed that he was dragging small paper strips out of the waste basket in my office. Hmmmm...... I GOT IT!
Speedy the Cat was trying to tell me to use the strips as RIBBON!!!! So....Out came my paper cutter and I got 5 LONG strips of papers and cut SLIVERS to create the "raffia" look! I then wrapped them around the strip across my card for a FAUX ribbon embellishment!
The image was stamped in Burnt Umber Palette Hybrid Ink onto Very Vanilla. I then colored with SU! markers.
I used Nestibilities for the circles. The small strip of designer paper was run through my crimper.
