I loved making this card. I originally wanted to use different colors on the background, but I adore this fun DP that my 13-yr-old son created for me in school using Photoshop. So, I separated my blocks with ribbon instead.
The image is computer clipart printed onto white cardstock and colored with Chartpak markers. The sentiment is also computer generated. I found this site with free to download images that are great for coloring!
The purple was punched with an edge punch, and then different ribbons were pulled through an old silver button and tied to the ribbon on the base of the card.
If you want a copy of the the DP, let me know - my son was giddy when he saw I used it on a card...I bet he'd get a real kick out of other people using it.
I will make it available to download on my blog later this evening!
Thanks for lookin', and thanks for a fun fun sketch!!!
