Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Riding Hood Red, Basic Gray and Always Artichoke... ( I added Black and White as neutrals.)
Speedy the Cat has been hiding this stamp in under the bath mat for the last 3 days. I have ignored his wishes, until today. This morning, it was on my FACE when I woke up!
The image was stamped in Noir Black Palette Hybrid Ink onto watercolor paper. Then, I used Classic Inks/re-inkers and colored it with an aqua painter. The belly was colored using a marker.
***I didn't like how the gray feathers looked, so I took my Inkssentials pen and colored the feathers closest to the body and then used Odorless Mineral Spirits and a blending stump to blend the white pen into the gray ink. This gave me the graduated color.
I used 2 Cuttlebug folders and a crimper on the white layers. (One on each! LOL!)

Adorable Faith! Love that stamp and sentiment...it's so funny. I love all the layers and textures, so pretty. I thought my cat was crazy and into everything...I would have to say, it sounds like Speedy the cat has even my boy topped...hee hee. By the way, my cat looks EXACTLY like Speedy the cat! I had to do a double take when I saw him on your blog!!

I really think your cards are great. I do have a question I would like to ask. I guess I'm not that savvy with all the blogging, etc. On your web site you mentioned you use a particular type of pen for all of your white dots. Can you please tell me does it dry up like the jelly pens and where do you find them. I am so sorry to contact you this way, but would appreciate any help you might offer.
