Hello and thank you for viewing my submission for today's color challenge. I created this card using a rare, retired SU! set called "Bushy-tailed Blessings".
I stamped the main image on Paper Trey's gorgeous white cardstock using Adirondack Pitch Black Ink, and colored the squirrels using Prismacolor Pencils and blended with Mineral Spirits. The stamped image was matted on a medium brown dp from Basic Grey, then matted on a rose colored floral, patterned dp from Daisy D's, then matted again on deep rose cardstock. The background paper of the card is from Basic Grey. The double-scalloped border is from the same coordinating Daisy D's rose colored floral, patterned dp and the deep rose sold cardstock.
I paper pierced the scallop border, and the matted frames. The sentiment was stamped on the same Daisy D's rose colored floral, patterned dp in Adirondack Pitch Black Ink. I paper pierced around the semi-circle that the sentiment is stamped on.
I embellished with a light rose & white polka-dotted satin ribbon and 3 different coordinating flowers from Jolee's Boutique.
