No, this week's color challenge of Ruby Red, Cocoa and Blush Blossom isn't the hardest challenge ever. I just love these colors.
Each week I have a challenge with a couple SCS friends and this week was Joan's (Joan Ervin) challenge. It was to make a card WITH NO LAYERS! Seriously? NO layers?! After my DH revived me (heehee), I got to work and came up with this.
I scored down the sides to frame the ribbon and then pierced for some interest. The stamp set is Verve's newly released, Beautiful You. I stamped the flower in Blush and the sentiment over it in Cocoa. The butterflies are from Verve's Petals and Stems and are stamped in Ruby Red, with a tiny bling at the 'head'. The butterfly train is Cocoa. There are stickles on the butterfly and on the flower. TFL.
Joan, I hope you like this no-layer card. It was the hardest challenge EVER!!

Michelle, this is fantastic! I don't think I'd know where to begin creating a n/l card but you certainly met the challenge well! Love the butterfly trails and piercing around the ribbon!
