I love this new set from Gina K Designs! I have a dear friend who's been undergoing a lot of tests lately, and the outcome is not looking good. So, I thought I'd send her a bright, cheerful card to let her know I'm thinking of her. This was the perfect sketch for these flowers! Thanks Roxie!
The "brads" are really just 1/8" circles punched from Pacific Point card stock, and covered in Crystal Effects. The flower centers are covered in Stickles for a little sparkle.
I made a mask for the flowers, and then went to town adding more. Would you believe I watercolored the flowers and THEN the background?! What a ninny! That was sooo not fun to try and get in between all those petals without making them bleed into the background...ugh! Some days...

This is gorgeous!!! Love the big bold flowers and the bright cheery yellow is the perfect backdrop for them. I think we've all had days like that... I do it all the time... build a card as I go and have lots of afterthoughts that should have been forethoughts... but the end result on this one is fab! It will surely encourage your friend!
