Was this ever a fun card to create! This is going to my a very special uncle who turns 60 this week. I can't wait to send it off to him tomorrow!
There are not a lot of cards in the gallery with Aged to Perfection and I really love this set ... even though I find it a bit difficult to use!
Lots of stamping on this one: Weathered background on the True Thyme and Chocolate Chip layers, Aged to Perfection stamped randomly on the True Thyme and Chocolate Chip layers, Anna Griffin sentiment was stamped using only the words "happy birthday" (the stamp reads "a very happy birthday").
All layers are sponged around the edges with True Thyme and Chocolate Chip inks. The twill was originally white twill that I dyed by using my True Thyme and Chocolate Chip ink pads.
Sentiment layer adhered to card using dimensionals.

Fabulous! I favorited this because I, too, love this set, but also find it hard to use. You did a great job using it here! Thanks for sharing and giving me ideas.

I'm not sure how serendipity works - but this 5 year old post just popped up in my favorites yesterday and I couldn't resist Caseing it.
I love these antique style stamp sets and am sure glad I kept them in my stamp collection. It never goes out of style and makes a perfect manly card for any occasion.
