TLC381 ~ Half It ~ (6/11/12)by Joan Ervin
CAS174 White on White (6-11-12) by Miss Boo
I stamped the Hero Arts 4.5" x 6" Large Flower Pattern onto white tagboard in Versamark, heated in opaque white embossing powder, used daubers to color the non-embossed flowers with Memento Cantaloupe and Disstress Ink worn lipstick and peeled paint.
I trimmed the panel to have most of the flowers be partially or half remaining.
Thank you for viewing!

Angela, I first admired these magnolia flowers when I saw them on your blog in peach with an embossed gold background. I immediately bought the stamps (it is made in two different sizes) and set to work copying your card.....SILLY me.! You are a 24-karat artist and every card you produce is my instant new favorite. My tries at copying are just a joke.
The gold background, and this white background too, have a texture I've tried to reproduce but failed. I assume they are heat embossed but mine might be over-cooked. Next time I will apply less heat and see if that works.
