Today's Inspiration Challenge is at the website of Superfine Bakery - I chose the cake which was covered with cream swirls resembling roses. It's the fifth photo in the gallery but I got a close up from their blog: Creamy Swirls Cake
I used the MFT Rolled Rose Die-namic to make a number of roses from felt and snipped bits from the Cheery Lynn Designs Fanciful Flourish die. I embossed a bit at the bottom of the panel and at the top, leaving a smooth strip for the sentiment, before stitching and popping it up on the card base.
A bit more detail about the making of the card on my blog.

This looks yummier than the cake, except for maybe the felt flower stuck in my teeth!! What a beauty!! I adore that embossing folder, and all of those flowers, amazing!! Such a lot of work rolling roses, but so worth the effort!!

Wow, this is stunning! Lovely job with the roses too. How I wish I had that MFT Rolled Rose Die-namic tonight as I try to make a pretty wedding card for a friend.
