I really like this Christmas set. I used the Cardinal image for Christmas cards a couple of years ago but had never inked this image. I am still trying to figure out this years cards but it probably won't be this one because it takes too much time.
I used the Riding Hood Red for the first time and really like this color. I stamped the image with Palette Burnt Umber ink on Kraft and watercolored it. I sponged the main image and the two triangles with Craft white ink. I think I got a little too much white on the Artichoke. My card is 5 inches square.

This is spectacular!!! I think this image is one of the prettiest stamps and you have done such a great job showcasing it! I love everything about this card.

OMGOODNESS this is just soooooooo very beautiful--So glad I have this set--I am going to have to try wc on kraft--never thought of doing that--so love this site. Thank you for a terriic new idea and insparation.

I just stumbled across your discussion about this card on the SCS forum tonight and had to check out your gallery. As a frequent SCS'r I recognize many of your cards as gorgeous creations I've seen before. This Christmas Rose is definitely a stunner. What a gorgeous creation.
