This background is the Smacking Acetate with a Twist technique. Directions can be found in TLC73 and more detail of my procedure is in this card link: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
The flowers are colored with pad ink and aqua painter, the background black lined edge is done free hand with a gel pen and the gems are adhered with Diamond Glaze. To avoid the Linen being to dark using the Bordering Blue, I ink up the stamp, lightly press a paper onto it then stamp the image; it leaves just enough ink to add texture without over powering the background colors. All but the black is stamped with Linen.
This is going into the soldiers box for one of them to send back home.
