Today's Inspiration Challenge is at the website of Superfine Bakery - I chose the cake which was covered with cream swirls resembling roses. It's the fifth photo in the gallery but I got a close up from their blog: Creamy Swirls Cake
I used the MFT Rolled Rose Die-namic to make a number of roses from felt and snipped bits from the Cheery Lynn Designs Fanciful Flourish die. I embossed a bit at the bottom of the panel and at the top, leaving a smooth strip for the sentiment, before stitching and popping it up on the card base.
A bit more detail about the making of the card on my blog.

This is one of the prettiest cards I have ever seen - really! Into my favs to so study later, but I am off to your blog now.
PS - too bad we can't invite Mark Twain to dinner - it would be fun. Plus in some pictures, he was really cute. I think he would really be impressed by this card too - but I think my card with the dunce cap skeletons would have played more to his ego.... LOL! Hugz!!!!
