These are the only summer stamps I have really. I've had a layout for the Wow Flowers rolling around in my head similar to this but since my new goodies haven't arrived yet, I've tried it out here!
The only embellishment I've used is the ribbon. Even though I've used several papers, I don't think they are considered layers? I think this card is only two layers-the base and the squares are another layer. I decided on my colours by going through my paper and pulling out the brightest ones I could find. I don't work with the brights much so this was fun. Inspiration taken from Natasha Trupp's Fall to layout #1 seen here http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogsp...-layout-1.html
The welcome and summer sentiments combined are from a card I recall seeing long ago-welcome paired with another season though-perhaps autumn? Something is telling me it was atomicbutterfly??? Unfortunately I don't have it in my favourties. Anyways, thanks to the one who inspired me!

What a fabulous card this is! Oh, your simplicity and classic lines are just that: simplistic yet elegant. Love your squares and butterflys. How perfectly gorgeous on white cs! Kudos. this is really outstanding.
