For today's sketch challenge to use an oval on a slant, as well as Monday's technique challenge to layer ribbon.
I love Anna Wights' work with Whippersnapper images and was inspired to invest in a few of their images a couple months ago. I actually colored these adorable girls quite shortly after I got the stamps, so it's great they fit for today's sketch challenge! They were colored with a mixture of Copics (I only have one set so am limited in colors: waaaah! I know I shouldn't cry and just count my blessings that I even have one set!) and SU watercolor crayons. I popped them up on dimensionals.
I am also often inspired by Cindy Haffner and her beautiful color combos she puts together. I especially love her combination of Lavender Lace and Tempting Turquoise.
I wanted to put a sentiment at the bottom, but it just looked too busy, so I used ribbon instead.
Thanks for filling in for Rox, Lisa, and thanks to all of you for looking at my card!!
Have a happy day!
