Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Pinks...(in honor of Breast Cancer Week).
Since I have a long standing CHALLENGE with myself, where I have to use WHATEVER stamp set is sitting on the stamp table, I HAD to use Doodle This! LOL! (This challenge usually forces me to CLEAN my stamp table after each card I make, but I was too exhausted last evening!LOL!)
So, I made some Ink, Spray and Smash paper in pinks. (See my blog for directions.) Then, I stamped the Doodle flower three times on Glossy. I used daubers and re-inkers to color in the petals. Then, I set the color with Clear Embossing Powder.
My best girl friend is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She is really scared. I have been making cards for her all month. This one is for her AFTER the surgery on Thursday.

Your card is beautiful! I am new to SCS and this is my first post (you could say I'm a SCS virgin :p I am sure your friend will appreciate and love all the cards you make her. I just completed 6 rounds of chemo (following a double mastecomy) for breast cancer and I am feeling great! Best wishes to your friend and let her know there is hope for all of us!
PS - if there is a Gilda's Club where your friend lives encourage her to check it out. They have been an amazing resource for me.

man, I love your gallery; all your cards are with such detail that I love. TFS all your cards. Looking for a shoebox swap card I can make; may try to do this one since it should take too long for them to make, nor me to cut out.
