This is my card for today's sketch challenge. Thank you Roxie for not only posting this awesome sketch but for also posting a link to my thread for Maddy! How thoughtful of you! This is my story:
1. I made this card for Frances #2 (franb63). On Monday I promised Frances I would send her a snowflake card and a couple of dog bones for Sugar!
2. When I was making this card the whole time I was thinking of Jojot and her awesome snowflake cards.
3. Kittie is the queen of snow scenes, Jojot is the queen of snow flakes.
4. For months I have been trying to come up with a nick name for Joanne. Something catchy, something combining her name with snow. I called her Snow-Snot one day, but then had to apologize. After that, nothing else seems to work. Maybe you all can help me out here.
6. I had to have a talk with the photographer this morning. Even though the snowflake is really white, it looks a little yellow in the picture, like it's been * * * * on by Fran's dog Sugar. It hasn't!
Note: I painted white dots on the ribbon using acrylic paint.

nobody tells a better story than you......nobody thinks of others more than you....and your talent....well that goes without saying...this is a snowflake masterpiece, my dear

you know, cindy, i don't think i'd like snow-snot as a nickname...even though it almost made me choke on my soda, lol!! only you! anyway, that being said, i love your card. great color...love the accent of it on the embossed snowflakes. and i'm sure it's even prettier irl (with a non pee yellow snowflake). ;)
