I wish I could claim credit for the idea behind using this set to make Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster, but it belongs to scookesews; see her cute card at Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. And since today's Featured Stamper is HB, I got the idea to cut out the faces and mount them in this particular fashion from HB's Flowers for a Friend card (Gallery at Splitcoaststampers.
We are huge Elmo fans at my house and our nephew is having his first birthday party next weekend, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to make some of these before putting them in DS's scrapbook. One thing I learned: I need more sizes of circle punches! The eyes were made by heat embossing white EP onto large garden green brads; that took a while. The faces were outlined in ink and then filled in with SU chalks. Thanks for looking!

THANKS for the inspiration!! In my own gallery, I made sure to mention your name since I was able to use part of this idea to make my own Elmo card. I just love it!
