Here is a birthday card for a dear friend, for 2 challenges, SC116, and WT105- Glossy Rerun. I've used alcohol inks in blues and creams to mimic the ocean and the beach. I've taken some artistic license with the sketch, and made the right hand panel a piece of distressed mulberry paper to look like the sand at the water's edge.
The lighthouse panel is colored with Prisma Pencils and Fluid Chalks; the water is glittered to look like the sun reflecting on it, with several layers of Detail Clear EP. I made the Happy Birthday charm by stamping the turtle in Versamark, brushing chalk over it, and overstamping the sentiment. I then rimmed the circle with copper wire, and filled it thickly with CE. (I saw Shelli do this on DIY.) The turtle climbing over the rocks is from Renaissance Art Charms, and the seagull in the lower left corner is from an old, unknown SU! set. Finally, I stamped the cheesecloth on the back panel to mimic fishing nets.
Thanks for looking! Maddy

What a beautiful, dreamy background with those alcohol inks! Great job on that lighthouse image too, and I love that little turtle and the birthday charm you created. TFS. Linda
