I went to the BG site and checked out their new blush papers - they are HOT! SIZZLING! I decided to make a strip of patterned paper - so what I did was start with whisper white and added some of the paisley in chocolate chip, then filled it in with an aquapainter and the sage ink. Very mild and light. Then I added some rose flowers and then daubered and dtp'd some blush ink all over the paper - added some sage polkadots and dtp'ed and dauber-smeared some rose ink. The main image is raised on dimensionals and the new chocolate cindyribbon - which is very similar to the flirty pink ribbon - is available through her store -
I sakura'ed the main flower and used the color spritzer with the chocolate chip pen to speckle the background. Copper cord and a handmade tag with the corner rounder complete this card.
It is a VSL - Val Stangle layout. Val is one of my "favoritest" stampers - she has such a clean quality to her work - must be why so many of us emulate her!

This card is GORGEOUS -- I missed it first time around -- someone sort of used your idea and mentioned this card so I had to come and find it -- well worth the look -- I LOVE the b/g you created here -- FABULOUS!!!

What a pretty, pretty design! Love the Blush Blossom and that gorgeous patterned paper you created - thanks for the detailed explanation. Val is dynamite, isn't she? TFS. Linda
