The card measures 4 ½ by 6”. I needed a sympathy card for a friend that just lost her mother; Jan is also going through radiation treatments for breast cancer right now. In place of flowers she got this card and a promise of stamping goodies when I place my next order. I told her the only reason the lowest butterfly is on the card is because I got completely finished with the card, touched and had black on my hands from cleaning up. I think the card really needed it anyway!
Piercing is done on the cross panel, sponging on the top light panels and the edging of the bottom layers are distressed. The flowers and butterflies are coloring with H2o brush and pad ink. After cutting out the images I went over the edges with a marker to cover the white (do this from the back) then tacky glued them to the card.
The top and bottom of the long panel and the side of the squared panel are attached with foam tape for dimension.
