I did a card a few days ago with one single tree and I loved it. I decided to try to create a forest snow scene. I stamped the trees across the page and then used a fairly dry brush to daub old olive reinker on. I didn't paint it on I daubed it on so the lines of the tree wouldn't be destroyed or run. Then I took a brush with creamy caramel and dotten in limbs in places that would naturally show through. I used a small brush and painted on little spots of snow with white craft ink and used white detail ep. I wanted there to just a light appearance of snow on the tips of the branches. I used a sponge and cloud template to lay down the color in the sky. First I sponged Barely Banana between the trees to add brightness. Then I sponged Bashful Blue using the cloud template and added depth by going over the lighter blue with Buckaroo Blue. I wanted the sky to look wintery. I used a small sponge dauber to put white craft ink along the ground and embossed with Winter White ep.

Thank You for giving such detail when you post, as a newbee I am thrilled to get instruction. I live in a small rural town and the chance for a class somewhere is slim to none.
I appreciate your sharing. I wish all will follow and if the card is a size other than the half sheet size give some dimensions. I hope this is not asking to much from all of the talented people out there and Kittie I marked yours to watch as my favorite.
