I was very spoilt today by fellow Aussie, Helen aka Helekins. Imagine my surprise when I saw these most adorable Penguin dies. I have never seen this brand before - Apple Blossom, they cut like butter!
I'm still hooked on this grey background which is very simply made by spraying black Dylusions ink spray onto alfoil and then squirting on some ironing spray. I plopped an A4 sheet of cardstock onto the puddle and rubbed my hand over the back of the card.
After it is nice and dry (about half a second) I cut the A4 sheet into smaller panels. I still haven't discovered why the starch isn't as 'wet' as water or why the spread pattern is different, or why it dries so quickly. All I know is, I love it.
I stuck the panel on a hammertone card base, then die-cut the Penguins, the bubbas are adhered to the card with glue and their mum is propped up with 3D tape. Silver Stickles were then dotted all over the place.
Thank you for looking. I hope you all have a happy, inky week.
