I managed to combine 3 challenges, today's colour challenge, really rust, going gray and very vanilla, yesterday's technique challenge - pop up gift card and last weeks sketch challenge.
My sweet SIL brought me this cute little stamp from Inkadinkado for helping her make some Christmas cards. So I wanted to use it on my gift card.... Main image stamped on very vanilla and then again on water colour paper. Ran the VV through the CB with Swiss dot folder. Water coloured and also used prismacolor pencil crayons to colour the image. I clear embossed the antlers, hat, eyes, nose and ribbon to give it a shine, embossed the ornaments on the ribbon with gold EP. Matted with really rust and going gray. Used ticket corner punch, inked up edges with RR. Sewed around edges. Added the black brads. Main card is 4x4. Vanilla, next is going gray, then really rust. Added the plaid dp and the 1 x 1 RR squares. Sewed around edges. Main images is up on pop dots. Then gift card was made as per instructions.
Stamped sentiment on inside of card in RR, punched out with square scalloped punch. inked edges, added the silver heart brad.
I am very pleased with how this turned out....

OMG! How cute is this!!!!! That doggie image is adorable and I love all the dimension the embossing gives! Your colouring is superb too!! My 12 yr old dd laughs at me, as I tend to stay away from images that need to be coloured, as my colouring skills leave a lot to be desired, lol!! Really love this card!
