I love this decorative ribbon, so I chose my color scheme for today's sketch challenge around these colors (orchid opulence, certainly celery, soft sky, and chocolate chip). Yes, it really is chocolate chip, but it always seems to photograph as if it's black.
This birthday card is also for a double dare challenge I do each week with some friends. Michelle, aka sf9erfan, dared us to pull out some stamps or embellishments that we've never, rarely, or haven't used in a long time. Just this morning, I finally cut and mounted my Fun Filled images and this is a stamp set from 2005 that I just had to have but had not used yet for this challenge. Unbelievable, eh?
Jojot recently sent me a generous care package with beautiful primas, pearls, and ribbons that I've been itching to find the right occasion to use. Today is that day! The ribbon and primas used here for my granddaughter's birthday card were a part of that package. Thanks, Jo!
