I was inspired by the colors, contrasts and the Fall feel of the room.
I have a very good friend who is having a difficult time. First Breast Cancer, then she lost her job, and now her car has to be replaced. We have been friends for over 30 years, and we are in constant contact, even though she lives in France. (Thank goodness for the internet!) For three days Speedy the Cat has been bringing this stamp set to me and dropping it in my lap. Today, I took the hint.
The image was stamped in VersaMark and embossed in Copper. Next, I used SU! markers to color in areas and then used an aqua painter to blend the colors.
The background is a wallpaper sample!
The card base is CRANBERRY CRISP! (Yes, I have been hoarding it! LOL!) I stamped the leaf image in Chocolate Chip onto the base and small panel.

Beautiful card, Faith - I'm sure it'll help her feel (a little) better... I had a friend going through a very difficult time and I told her to remember that 'this too shall pass', and her reply was, 'yeah, like a kidney stone' - LOL! Seriously, though - great card.

Fabulous card, Faith. Love your design and all your great elements. Your card should be a wonderful source of inspiration for your French friend. It's wonderful.
