Another trio of great challenges I didn't want to miss. Congrats to Susie on being the FS and I chose her Happy
card to case. I changed the colors and images, exchanged the greeting for the nestie ovals and added a bugged vellum overlay. I kept her wonderful layout and divided panels w/ the scallop border (mine is punched).
For yesterday's IC I chose BettyÂ’s Flower Stand as my inspiration. I loved the flowers and the blue and white vases.
For the OCCC, we were to use dry embossing, either by hand, CB, whatever.
My vase and the floral spray are stamped and heat embossed then colored w/ markers and cut out. The nestie ovals were stamped w/ baby pink then cobalt ink was sponged around the edges.
The vellum was stamped w/ white ink then bugged. I attached it to a piece of the coral textured c/s then cut it into strips, the last one I left enough c/s to punch the edge. I used a white opaque marker along the edges and attached it a piece of brilliant blue. A leftover piece of vellum was tinted w/ the baby pink ink, edged w/ white and attached to a strip of b.blue for the band. A large brad was added.
Then it was all put together as you see, w/ foam tape of various thicknesses under the small oval, the vase and the flowers. TFL

oooh! This is so, so, pretty. Love the softness of the colors, the cb, the lace punch. The panels definately add to the asian look. My favorite part of the whole card is how you cut the vase out and placed it near the other image. I never would have thought of that. Great job!
