Summer of 82. Pirates of Penzance. Kristy McNicholl and Leif Garrett had the starring roles. I'm sitting in the theatre with a friend of mine, a guy friend. The movie was terrible, but I was happy to be with my friend. Being with him was easy, like being with my brother. I was sure he felt the same... But after the movie, and at the bus stop, he tells me he wants to take our relationship to the next level. Oh my! I hope I didn't break his heart, but I just didn't return the feelings! He must have been ok with it, or at least got over me quickly, because within a year he was engaged to a wonderful girl that he is still happily married to! What an awful movie, but what a sweet guy!
Images colored with Tombow pens spread with water.
Bg is the treasure map repeated, then distressed like mad!
Anchor is also a stamp cut out (painstakingly!!) with exacto knife.
All stamps by High Hopes Stamps. TFL!

Ha!! I have no idea what the LSC was for today but that's a cute story!!! I cut my anchor out today, with good ole scissors ~ I think next time I'll use the Xacto knife! This is stupendous, and I have no idea how you have the time to draw the images AND make all these cute cards!!! You are way ahead of the rest of us!!!

Fab card for little boys (or indeed I know plenty of 'grown up' boys who'd love it too!!) Lovin your anchor - when I first looked I thought it was a 'solid' embellishment! And of course, lovely job with your colouring.
