My card for IC135 is inspired by the yellow switch plate cover from Mackintosh Enamels. I have one of their switch plate covers in my bedroom, and they are even more gorgeous in person.
To try to achieve the enamal-like effect of the design, I cut flowers from cardstock using Cuttlebug die cuts and attached them to light yellow cardstock using temporary adhesive. I then sprayed on a layer of yellow colorwash. I removed several of the flowers and sprayed a second layer of orange color wash to finish the design.
I added a SU Rub-on sentiment, Fiskars Threading Water punched border, yellow ribbon, and Mylar blooms layered with one of the flower masks and a brown brad to finish the design. I love the chance to play with my color wash sprays.

Every time I look at this card, it looks like a fabulous fabric for home dec! (Maybe you should go into textile design) I LOVE the contrast of the black border and green ribbon with all the yellow and orange! TFS, and thanks for a great challenge - I've been oohing and aahing over everyone's creations all afternoon!
