Loved Denise's gallery. I chose Bayou Stork to case. I changed the stamps, omitted the ribbons and sentiment and altered the panels slightly to fit my images. I tried to stay w/ the layout as much as I could and in the general area of her colors because I like them so much.
What I did: I spritzed a white glossy panel w/ water then applied Twinkling H2O paints. I used 3 colors, a blue, a lime green and an azalea color (sparingly). I added a little more water here and there to let the colors run and pool then I let it dry. I had to take this pic at an angle where you can't really see the sparkle, because the sparkle was just too much for the camera.
I stamped the images w/ black then edged them w/ a black marker and layered onto the other colors. The areas like the windows and some places on the hillside, I painted w/ bleach to whiten them. I punched three flower circles (Martha Stewart punch) and attached them to a narrow black panel, the center one is popped up as is the large pagoda.
The 3 dots are 2 sizes of hole punches layered and attached. I drew the lines around the black panel, first w/ a white gel pen then went over it w/ a turq. gel pen. Had to use white first to get it to show up. TFL

Wow!! lOVE the freshness and unique CASE (an oxymoron?) you've done. These coloring techniques with your images and the layout combine to create a beautiful card. Well done!

Hey this is just so gorgeous. The colors are strikingly clear where they need to be and dark where they need to be. Great take on the case. Love the Pagoda, this is an outstanding work of art my dear fellow cardmaker. Thanks for sharing it with us, it is a privilege.
