Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge! WOW! I just had to use my NEW Release stamps from Flourishes!
I have to say, when I first say this stamp set from Flourishes, the giant Peony caught my eye.
However, Speedy the Cat, YumYum and Spittie Kittie just LOVE aggravating BEEtrice the Busy Bee! I keep finding her and these Lily of the Valley stamps under my BATH MAT! I went to take a shower this morning and noticed the tell tale lump and KNEW I was receiving obvious messages to use these stamps today! LOL!
So, here they are! BEEtrice the Busy Bee was stamped twice. I color the images with markers, cut them out and layered them.
I stamped the Lily of the Valley stems with black ink and colored in the flowers with an Inkssentials Gel Pen.
The leaves were colored with markers and cut out. I then layered them onto the flowers.
I stamped the sentiment and flower on white and punched it out. This was done 3 times before I got the flowers lined up with the existing stem!LOL! Then, I sponged around the oval and filled in the flowers with the Inkssentials gel pen.
The Old Olive layers were stamped tone on tone with Flourishes' Damask.
The dots were made with a marker and Inkssentials gel pen.

As usual, Faith, your card is fabulous. I just love your color combinations. And your attention to details makes looking at your cards a joy. By the way, thanks for telling us how you sponge your cards. I am going to give it a try.
I hope you and Markie have a great day.

Lovely card, Faith! And be glad you find your stamps. My cat took one of my brand new stamps off my table (I was only gone a minute or two) and I still cannot find it!

This is gorgeous! I love all your layers! Gotta agree with the kitties - the Lily of the Valley & Bee stamps are hard to ignore! In fact they're calling to me "Buy Me! Buy Me!"
