Hi! This card and coffee mug were made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Real Red, Regal Rose and So Saffron.
WOW! What colors! I just happened to have this BRAND NEW mug and Starbucks coffee all ready to deliver to a good friend when I saw today's challenge...LOL!
Out came this AWESOME new set from Flourishes! WOW! I LOVE IT!!! (YumYum and Spittie Kittie LOVE it too! They kept fighting over who got to sniff the coffee beans! LOL!)
The Regal Rose backgrounds were stamped tone on tone with Flourishes Damask.
The coffee cups were stamped on Very Vanilla and on Basic Grey designer papers and then shaded with markers. I cut out each cup and layered them.
The "steam" is a flourish in this new set! I stamped it in black and then cut it out. Next, I pressed it into Versa Mark and embossed it with Vanilla embossing powder! (This made it stiffer! I REVERSED the flourish on the Coffee Mug and cut off some of the flourish! This made it look similar, but not identical to the other!)
I added dots with a marker and Inkssentials gel pen on the card.
I added dots with a Sharpie and Inkssentials gel pen on the mug.
I added dots to the Mug on the Mug! LOL! (Types funny, probably reads goofy! LOL)

Well Faith, this is a new favorite for me. OMG this is so super gorgeous I can't stop looking at it.
You make this new flourishes set so amazing looking "now I have to buy this set", your technique should be a tutorial one of these days. Your are my idol of the stamp world.......

Incredibly amazing!!! Love how you toned down the colors with the aging...really makes the color combo more to my liking! What a great gift!!! The packaging is wonderful!
