Somehow though, I am not quite happy with mine. I think I am having a stampers funk!! Oh dear and it's coming out in my dreary looking card!! I usually use a lot of colours - but what happened here???
Oh well -
used crystal effects on the teapot and and the cup. coloured the teapot and teacup with garnet twinkling H20's - the rest gamsol magic
The bit of bling that I added to the corners cheered me up a little. Actually - my dad passed away of cancer April 11 last year. I'm afraid my bit of a funk has transferred over to my card!!
Maybe if I make a colourful card like I usually do - my funk will disappear... I'll try!
Thanks for looking!

Your little bear is certainly pensive -- and remembering all the good times with your dad! I hope your memories will bring you some comfort and smiles this week!
I think your card is adorable and can hardly wait until these go on sale at HL! The CE is a perfect addition to the teapot and cup! CUTE!

I think your card is very cute. I am so sorry about your Dad...the anniversaries of their deaths do get easier as the years go by...but losing your parents is never easy. I lost my Dad 31 years ago...while I was pregnant with my first child. Then my Mom 11 years ago. At least my Mother got to know my children...and they have memories of her, so that is good...Boy did I get off subject here...lol I always enjoy your cards...and I dont think the card shows your funk at all.
Sweet precious little card. Nothing here to show you have stampers funk. Sorry you are missing your father. I know how hard that is. Keep the wonderful memories in your heart and know you are blessed.

Oh, such a sweet card...I don't know how I didn't see it earlier. Hope the sun is shining warmth on you today and that your spirits are lifted. Anniversary dates are never easy, especially the first few. And then are some days that we just miss our dads and it has nothing to do with an anniversary day! But thankfully the sun does shine again and we feel better. Thanks for sharing with us and letting us have a peek into your feelings behind your creation.

I love your card...So sorry for your loss. It is so hard losing someone to that terrible disease (or any other)...The pain seems to stay with us. *sniff* Hugs to you Deborah xoxo

No. no. no! This is not dreary at all! I love the shiny red teapot and cup and the minimal layers. The ribbon is a great match for the base paper. This is a wonderful friend or missing you or get well soon card - just evokes a warm and comfortable feeling in me! You're not in a funk, Deborah, you're just branching out!
