OK, I've had these plaques in my drawer for AGES! To tell you the truth, I can't even tell you how long! Remember when these were the all the rage, I even have the matching brads.
Anyway, they are quite pretty and I paired these up with beautiful new flowers coming to release April 3rd. They are called Nature Silhouettes (designed by Kim Hughes) for Cornish Heritage Farms
I used a technique I just learned to make a frame around my plaque using a faux ribbon stamp and a sheet of acetate to create mitered corners.
Here are the card deets:
Stamps:
Faux ribbon from the In the Garden set by Fancy Pants
Nature Silhouettes by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Pink Sherbet, Lettuce (adirondack)
Paper:
Sprout DP by Memory Box
Accessories:
Prima
Plaque and brad by Making Memories
Sewing
sanding block

Very nicely done, and you showcased the embellishment wonderfully.

I, too, have these plaques. I figured I should use them for scrapbooking, because they would definitely make my cards use extra postage! Thanks for the frame idea. It looks really great.
