The first thing I thought of when I saw the color combo was some absolutely gorgeous orchids they have for sale at a Japanese store out in town. I mean, just *gorgeous*. I'd love to have some but a) they're really expensive and b) it would take me less than a week to kill them, I'm all black thumbs. Well anyway, I pulled out my two Asian sets with flowers and tried to make an homage to the orchids I can't buy. I think I've seen some fake ones somewhere though, those I couldn't kill...hmm.
Leaves are stamped on the Kraft CS with Sage Shadow ink; I colored part of the flowers with an Orchid Opulence marker and then watercolored the rest so it would have some shading to it, and then I sponged on a bit of Sage Shadow ink around my flowers. Nothing really spectacular but that seems to be my par lately...I think this card would have benefited from some Chocolate Chip thrown in the mix for contrast.

I love the layout and the images are colored so pretty. All I came up with was a dumb bunny card, and that took all day.
I'm sorry you have a black thumb. Orchids are expensive alot of times I rescue them from stores, you can get them cheap because they thought they killed'em. Try it. tfs

This is a great card for this challenge! Revisiting that sketch is nice too.
