Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Pinks...(in honor of Breast Cancer Week).
Since I have a long standing CHALLENGE with myself, where I have to use WHATEVER stamp set is sitting on the stamp table, I HAD to use Doodle This! LOL! (This challenge usually forces me to CLEAN my stamp table after each card I make, but I was too exhausted last evening!LOL!)
So, I made some Ink, Spray and Smash paper in pinks. (See my blog for directions.) Then, I stamped the Doodle flower three times on Glossy. I used daubers and re-inkers to color in the petals. Then, I set the color with Clear Embossing Powder.
My best girl friend is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She is really scared. I have been making cards for her all month. This one is for her AFTER the surgery on Thursday.

Thanks for sharing your personal history as well as your beautiful card. This beams warmth and concern. I send my best wishes to your friend. We have had 4 very close family members go through this and all are still around to tell their stories. Kathy

Such a beautiful display of your friendship. I pray that God will have a steadfast clam in your friends life and sees it in His will that your friend will be TRIUMPHANT in the end. May God continue to give both your friend and you strength to take on the task at hand. TFS
