This is for CC101B to use Saffron, Celery and Cranberry Crisp. I would not have thought to use these colors together, Emily! Thanks for the great challenge. I used my artist pen to add some texture to the bucket and used Saffron to color. I did add a little more mustard to the dark areas of the bucket to add a look of rust. It was so close to the saffron that I didn't feel like it was too much of a cheat. I painted all the apples with Saffron and then went over them with cranberry trying to leave areas of lighter and darker shades to look not so perfect. We all know apples out of the orchard are never perfect. After painting the ground area with celery I painted some sprigs with my watercolor brush and then used the fern stamp to add texture. I sponged Saffron all around the bucket of apples to add light.

Kittie this is fabulous. I have to laugh . . . when I was a little girl on my great grandmothers farm, she had an orchard. The apples were never perfect -- most of the time they were on the ground with such bad spots -- but they still made great pies!

Absolutely gorgeous. I have a CB still sitting in the box, have not used it once. It's coming out today if I can make a card like this. Thanks for the inspiration!
