Created for TLC99. Decorating notebooks is one of my favorite projects so I was so excited to see that it was todays challenge!
This little spiral notebook was purchased at the $1 store. I covered it with winter mini designer paper - then tied ribbons to the spirals. I usually tie the ribbons before decorating the notebook, that way I match the notebook to the ribbons. A bit backwards, but it works for me. I added a little pocket made with old olive paper, distressed the edges with winter white ink, and stamped it with the dots from Delight in Life.
The chipboard star was painted with acrylic paint, then edged with olive green glaze paint. Once dry I used a gel pen to faux stitch the edges.
The little, removable tags were stamped with Whimsical Alphabet, then the smaller words were stamped with Amazing to Zany. I distressed the edges of the tags with brown ink, but didn't like it so I watercolored the edges with Teal as well.
Thanks for looking!
