Diane's color choices this week are quintessential Fall. I love these rich autumnal colors and can visualize them painted across a sea of trees on a distant hill. So beautiful. And, I thought they would look great with my current favorite technique.
Highlights to make this card: splatter colors on watercolor paper; emboss with ink on the ef; color in the bg with a black pen or Sharpie with a few steps in between. And you don't have to use black. I used dark purple on a recent card and it looked good as well. Even though I used a leaf EF, this doesn't really scream Fall to me. Still, I love the dramatic effect of these colors with the black. So, will you "Fall" into these tones or go a whole other direction? I would love to see what you create.
P.S. The spicy frame layer and thanks die cut were colored direct-to-paper on Neenah white cs.
