I made this card for this week's Tickle A Teapoter Challenge. The last week of the month we send cards to each other and Jen (Miss Boo) has a fantastic challenge for us called, "Red, White & Blue With A Twist." Meaning, non-patriotic cards and different shades of blue. Fun!
The daisies are 3-step stamping, then fussy cut out. The leaves are 2-step stamping, then die cut. The sentiment panel is die cut, then stamped on. The red DSP strip is die cut using a scalloped edge die on each edge. Figured out the configuration, then put Glad Press n Seal over everything to hold it all together, added glue to the backs of the flowers and leaves and sentiment panel, and adhered into place.
This card reminds me of picnics we used to take when I was growing up. We had a checked tablecloth and quite often a mason jar filled with daisies. I thought this sentiment was perfect for the times we are living in.
Thank you Jen for this wonderful challenge and thank you for looking! ~Karen.
