This month's new Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge is an easy one (which I needed to do). This is a super simple card, and I hope you'll join us. It's been so wonderful to continue to make cards throughout the year. While I've wanted to do this for years, it's taken this wonderful challenge to motivate me. Join us!
I chose this "never-been-used" Serendipity image and colored it and decided (as I was resting earlier today) that it might look good over this sweet Christmas script (which may also be a NBUS stamp - I think). I'm trying to "use or lose" this year and hope to make a dent on my large collection of stamps. I colored and fussy cut the image, stamped the script (die cut it and matted it), and then popped the holly image with thin foam squares. I don't have a sentiment other than the script, so these might be good for thank-you notes for Christmas gifts or quick cards to make as Christmas fast approaches (I made two of these already today).
Thank you so much for taking a closer look at my card! Wishing you all a wonderful week and a happy October! (I was talking with a friend at church today, and she and her DH are going up to PA to visit her mom - and they'll get to see some fall leaves. She promised some photos! I miss the fall color change up north.) Hugs, all! xoxo

As always lovely dear friend Perfect gen stationary at holiday time for sure or you could switch over as a Christmas card.
Your judgement on what size mat to use is always so right on.

Cheryl, your coloring is incredible, the shading and highlights are perfect. Love that Christmas script, it's the perfect bg and the out of the box cutting makes the image pop! Glad you found time to color and create!
