This ones for my oldest DD, who is not only a daughter but a best friend! My card was made with three challenges in mind, as follows:
#1 - Alphabet Challenge, Round 8: "Letter P" - 11/29/17. Letter P - Pink and Punches. The double challenge is "K for Kraft." I used a piece of recycled white kraft envelope paper for the panel to stamp my "heart" plant onto. I had forgotten that large white envelopes were made from bleached kraft until I re-read the challenge definition for "kraft." Thanks goodness for re-reading more carefully before beginning!
#2 - Free for All Challenge - F4A46 - 2/9/18: "Red Hot Love." Use hot colors and a heart on your project. Lots of reds in ink, paper, and ribbon for my "hot" color and lots of glimmery, glitzy hearts!
#3 - 2018 Use It Challenge - USEIT2018 - runs years around...use materials and tools that haven't been used in a long time...be they old or new! My card is entirely made with old materials and tools that haven't seen the light of day for at least two years and some over four year! They are "Valentine Defined" stamps (retired), Heart to Heart punch (retired), Scallop Edge punch (retired), ribbon, and even some of the cardstock has been in my stash for years.
